To exist as a non-binary person in a binary world, one must constantly prove their worth. Living authentically means redefining limits and shattering expectations. Defying binaries is anything but easy - it is burdensome, exhausting, and painful - but what I have learned is that even in the darkest of times, there is always light.
What started off, and continues to be, a project about documenting my existence as a non-binary person, has evolved into a larger passion project of exploring beauty outside the lines. I pride myself on creating an affirming and body-positive space, where queer people are empowered to explore their connection to their body and the world around them.
As we continue to disrupt the rigid structures forced upon us, let us not forget that we are all beautiful.
We exist.
Others do not have to understand.
We already do.
